Foshan Youth Innovation Park - A Large Interactive Mural For An Innovation Center
This ambitious installation uses Touch Board MIDI functions to power an interactive wall with a powerful narrative
We’ve just finished our new projection mapping tutorial, so it couldn’t be a better time for us to share this really cool interactive experience that uses the Touch Board’s MIDI feature to do just that! This fantastic project was created by Ctrl+T.lab, a multimedia company which specialises in interactive design, media technology and branding development.

Ctrl+T.lab designed and built the touch-sensitive art for an event, so that visitors could learn about the city of Foshan by interacting with an illustrated history of it. The exhibition was to present the ideas and plans for an innovation park in the city, which is in Guangdong Province, China.
The team at Ctrl+T.lab created their installation in a space 4 meters wide by 3 meters tall, using 6 interactive points. Each point was painted with Electric Paint and was connected to the Touch Board which powered the interactivity.
When the visitors touched the interaction points, motion graphics were projected onto the wall and projection mapping techniques were used to combine them with the painted art.
Several people could interact with the wall simultaneously, providing an immersive way for them to learn during the exhibition.
